Feile Weekend
Lucan Sarsfields Féile Weekend Report
What a fantastic Féile weekend for Lucan Sarsfields, with no fewer than five teams representing the club!!
We had four Ladies Football teams in action across the county. Our Division 7 team produced a thrilling performance to claim victory in their final against Geraldine P. Morans, edging the game in dramatic fashion in the closing moments to win by the slimmest of margins. Huge congratulations to all involved on a truly memorable win!
Our Division 2 Ladies Football team battled bravely to reach the semi finals before losing out to a strong Na Fianna side, while our Division 10 team also gave an excellent account of themselves, narrowly missing out in their semi final against Na Dubhghall.
There was also great excitement in the boys’ competition, where our Feile Boys Division 7 team contested the shield final, eventually coming up just short against Na Gaeil Óga after a tremendous effort.
A massive thank you to all our players for representing Lucan Sarsfields with distinction throughout the weekend, and to the mentors, families, and supporters who turned out in great numbers to cheer them on. Days like these truly capture the spirit and pride of our club.
Well done to everyone involved – Lucan Abú!
