The death has occurred of Liz Balfe.  Liz was a former member of Lucan Sarsfields Ladies Football team from its beginning in 1991, sister of John (Junior Hurler and Juvenile Mentor) and sister in law of Julie.  Funeral arrangements attached.

BALFE (Moyne, Thurles, Co. Tipperary and formerly of Leixlip, Co. Kildare) January 12th 2016 (tragically) following an accident, Elizabeth (Liz), beloved Fiancée of Niall Quinn (Thurles) and dearest daughter of Joan and Jack and dear sister of John and Deirdre. Sadly missed by her loving family, Niall’s mother Marie, brother-in-law Michael, sister-in-law Julie, aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Reposing at Grey’s Funeral home, Templemore, Co. Tipperary on Thursday evening, 14th January, between 8pm and 10pm. Reposing at Cunningham’s Funeral Home, Clonsilla, Dublin 15 on Friday afternoon, 15th January, from 2pm. Removal to the Church of St. Charles Borromeo, Confey, Leixlip, Co. Kildare arriving at 6pm. Funeral on Saturday morning, 16th January, after Mass at 10am to Confey Cemetery, Leixlip. House private.
