Lucan Sarsfields following Operation Transformation 2016

South Dublin County Council in partnership with South Dublin County Sports Partnership and Lucan Sarsfields GAA Club are starting an Operation Transformation Group in January 2016.  The programme will run alongside the TV show.  The Group will be open to both members and non-members of Lucan Sarsfields GAA Club, the entire community of Lucan is encouraged to sign up and participate.

Participants will be encouraged to use the join Lucan Sarsfields’ Operation Transformation Facebook Group, look at RTE’s Operation Transformation website, select a leader and follow their programme. 
Lucan Sarsfields GAA Club will organise:

  • Organised walks along safe routes around Lucan on Tuesday and Thursday nights
  • High Vis vest supplied
  • Track your weight loss (optional, confidential weekly weigh-in on Tuesday nights)
  • Expert Nutrition Talk & Advice
  • Expert Walking & General Fitness Speaker (Mark Lacey, Insanity Fitness)
  • Participation in free 6 week healthy eating courses run by South Dublin Co Co (TBC)
  • Group Support

Registration: Thursday 7th January in Lucan Sarsfields Clubhouse from 7:30pm – 9.30pm

Louise Ormsby, last year’s Operation Transformation participant and Mark Lacey, Insanity Fit Zone will speak at the Registration of our Operation Transformation on Thursday 7th January from 7.30pm 

in the clubhouse. There will be 2 walks (Tuesdays and Thursdays – different length walks available) with talks on fitness, healthy eating and free cookery course from SDCC for participants. Join us on our OT journey!!
