Lucan Sarsfields Statement on Sports Capital Grant.

Earlier this year , a working group was formed by the executive to review options for inclusion in the Sports Capital Grant 2015. As a club , it has been a number of years since our last application. While we are currently formulating a Club Strategic Plan that will drive our Capital spend over the next five years, it was felt prudent to use this latest round of Grants to make some required Capital improvements.

We are delighted to announce that we have been provisionally secured a grant of €29774 of funding today for upgrade works on the Ball Wall ,new pitch fencing and new portable goals/nets for AWP/Club.

In a broader community sense, and for our shared membership , we congratulate the other Lucan clubs who have secured funding today and wish them the best with their respective projects.

A huge thanks to the extended bid team - Eoin Dunne , Tommy Flannery, John Kennedy , Kevin Porter, Colm Hickey, Seamus Fagan , Gerry McNamara, Ronan Foley and Ann-Marie Lavin and all within and outside the club who helped in anyway in securing this funding .
