Go raibh míle maith do na páistí go léir a ghlac páirt sa chomórtas Scór na bPáistí ag an deireadh seachtain seo caite. 

Well done to all the Lucan Kids who took part in Scór na bPáistí last weekend in Peregrines GAA..

The day started off with the quiz and Lucan entered 2 teams and came out winners with the team of Ciara Nic Craith, Emily Sheridan, Cathal O hEachtairnigh, and Ben Malone. One thing Lucan does well is in the quiz with Scor Sinear team already Dublin winners this year.

After the Céilí dancing Lucan were up again in the Solo Singing with Ailbhe Ní Chonghaile singing "Siúl a Rún" in a tough competition Ailbhe came joint second. Ailbhe continued on with another solo performance in the recitation with "Dá Méadh" which her class learned from múinteoir Frank.

Now it was the groups turn. Our Instrumental Group Ciara Nic Craith, Emily Sheridan, Cathal O hEachtairnigh, Ailbhe Ní Chonghaile and Ben Malone came 1st after played 2 lovely tunes well polished by all the practice they do on a Wed night in Lucan Comhaltas. Last put not least our balled group Holly de Buitléir, Ailbhe Ní Chonghaile, Chloe Nic Gabhann agus Ciara Ní Dhulaing sang 2 songs as Gaeilge and also won 1st place,  again well practiced and guided by their múinteoir Frank in GaelScoil Eiscir Riada.

After all the medals were presented by Barbara O'Neill and the Lucan crew heading home we hope to see all these kids back on the stage again next year in Scór  na nÓg.
