Lucan Sarsfields A: 3-17                                            Naomh Barrog A: 0-04

An outstanding performance in excellent conditions seen Lucan earn their third victory of the league campaign with a high scoring result. Lucan built the foundations for the victory following four early points from Jake Rooney and Colm Walsh. This was followed soon after by an excellently taken goal by Evin Dowling which gave the hosts a significant lead. Aided by the breeze in the first half Lucan piled on the pressure to stretch their lead further through some well taken scores by Oisin Ryan, Ryan O̢۪Connor and Ciaran O̢۪Brien. Oisin Ryan also managed to find the net following an instinctive strike from a goalmouth scramble while Fintan Wards speculative effort from long distance also found its way to the back of the net. Charlie Keher followed with two excellent points from sideline cuts to leave Lucan ahead at half time by 3-10 to 0-02.

Naomh Barrog rallied in the second half and managed to play themselves into the game and were unlucky not to increase their score tally. However some excellent defending by Finnan Breen and Eoin Power thwarted their attempts on several occasions. Jake Mooney was in fine form in goals for the hosts and pulled off two excellent saves to prevent near certain goals. Lucan finished the game with excellent scores from play by Oisin Twamley, Colm Walsh, Evin Dowling and two more sideline cuts from Charlie Keher.
