It is with great sadness that we inform you of the death of Seaghan Ó Lanagáin.

Seaghan has been a great servant of Lucan Sarsfields over many years, from mentoring teams to the executive. He was also involved with the lotto. In recent years, he was one of the founding members of the Social Initiative Group and was active in the group up to very recently. His love of the Irish language was very evident and he was instrumental in setting up our Cúpla Focal club, which is very popular. Seaghan would often be seen on the sideline supporting all of our teams. One of life's gentlemen, Seaghan will be sadly missed by his family and his wider Lucan Sarsfields family.

On behalf of Lucan Sarsfields GAA Club we would like to extend our deepest condolences to his wife Mary, children Eoin, Gráinne and Sinéad, daughter in law Clíona, son in law Declan and grandchildren Leenah, Dara, Cillian and Hank.
