Ireland Lights Up

We are delighted to announce that for the 1st time Lucan Sarsfields Healthy Club will be participating in "Ireland Lights Up" - the country's biggest community walking initiative.  The initiative encourages GAA clubs to bring communities together to walk and talk in a safe environment during the dark winter evenings.  We will be meeting at the 12th Lock Clubhouse at 7pm on Wednesday nights from 11th January for 6 weeks.  We will walk from our clubhouse to Adamstown and back for 1 hour in total.  Just sign in on each night.

So set a New Years Resolution and get walking and make new friends!!! Watch this space for more details.

Kili 3 Charity night

Three club members Stephen Murphy, Tommy Somers and Andrew Duff are climbing Kilimanjaro in late January. They have covered the full cost of the trip themselves, but are fundraising for two great charities as part of this - DSI - Down Syndrome Ireland and the Make a Wish foundation Ireland. We wish the  a sucessfull and safe trip. More details and link for donations here

Lotto Team

Mary Flannery who has been our dedicated lead in the Lotto for the last 10 years has decided to step down, during this time the lotto has grown to be one of the most important fundraisers in the club. Mary would like to thank all the dedicated lotto team members who support every week throughout the year to make it a success. We would like to thank Edel Mooney who will be taking over from Mary and wish her the best in her new role.

No Winner of last week’s Lotto Prize of €11,400.

The Numbers were 11, 12, 14, 20.

The 5 lucky dip prizes go to, Sean Walsh, Columbia Ellior, Peter Hickey, Avril Mullins and Derek Quilligan. 

Next week’s Lotto will be for a jackpot of €11,800. The draw is sponsored by Henley Forklift Group and will be led by Edel Mooney.
