Lucan Sarsfields GAA Club Notes - Extra!
May 07, 2021
Lucan Sarsfields GAA Club today, announce that our Senior Camogie Team will ‘Champion’ the Marie Keating Foundation over the next 3 Years.
Thank you to Ollie Mahon of Lucan Sarsfields and Roadstone in putting this collaboration together.
The Marie Keating Foundation was established in 1998 by the Keating family, following their mother Marie’s death from breast cancer . The Marie Keating Foundation was established in her memory, with the Keating family promising to provide the people of Ireland with free access to information and nurses, to help prevent cancer or detect it at its earliest stages. Over the last 23 years the Foundation has grown to become one of the leading cancer charities in Ireland, providing a range of free information, support and survivorship services ensuring they are there for cancer patients, survivors and their families at every step of a cancer journey. The Foundation's mission is to make cancer less frightening by enlightening and their vision is to live in a world free from the fear of cancer. Lucan Sarsfields are delighted to have the opportunity to work so closely with the Marie Keating Foundation.
