Intercounty games resume this weekend, although without spectators, best of luck to all Lucan Sarsfields players: Aisling Behan, Cara Ware, Clíodhna Ní Bhuachalla, Hannah Gibbs, Sinéad Daly, and Sophie McIntyre, all part of the Dublin U16 Camogie squad traveling to take on Kilkenny in Kilkenny, while Chloe O’Connor, Aoife McKearney and Claire Rigney travel with the Dublin Intermediate Camogie squad to Pearse Park to take on Galway. Alan Murphy and Mark Lavin are part of Tom Grays Dublin U20 Footballers as they face Tyrone in Cavan at 2pm on Saturday (Live on TG4) in the All Ireland semi-final.
For the first time in 10 years, the Dublin Senior footballers will play a league game at Parnell Park when they take on Meath at 7pm on Saturday evening, this game is covered live on Eir Sport.
Our Sincere Sympathies to the Shannon Family on the tragic loss of Jack, son of Joe and Caroline, brother of Dylan, Zoe and Phoebe (Minor/Adult, Camogie and Ladies Football), Jack played hurling and football with the club, and Rugby with Belvedere College and Barnhall RFC. The Lucan District Credit Union Academy for girls and boys born in 2013, 2014 and 2015 only, continues on Saturday. To register your child for a place, contact David Moran, Club GPO, on 0879267607. Pre-registration with David is essential.
The 12th Lock Café opening hours 6-9pm Monday to Friday and 9:30am to 1:30pm on Saturday. These times may change in line with Covid-19 guidelines.
Club Shop opening hours: Thursday, 7:30-8.30pm and Saturdays 10am-1pm.
Lucan Sarsfields GAA Club Lotto Jackpot €1000: There was one lucky winner of the €5400 Lotto Jackpot sponsored by O’Gradys Hearing Care Services held on 8th October, The numbers drawn were 3, 6, 9 and 11. Congratulations to the winner, Margaret Smith. The lucky dip winners of €30 each are: Willie Coogan, Emma & Donal Flannery, Pat Cahill, McKelvey Family and Caroline Gallagher. The jackpot for the next draw is €1000, sponsored by Newcastle Golf Centre, managed by Edel Mooney, and will be held on Thursday 17th October live on Facebook, behind closed doors.
