CHAMPIONS –A massive well done to our U15A hurlers, who captured the 15a Championship title in Abbottstown yesterday, beating rivals Kilmacud Crokes 0-15 to 0-09, a great team performance, well done to Cathal Doody on his man of the match performance, and to the management team of Colm Farrell, Lenny McSweeney, John Kennedy, Anthony Doody and Matt McCaffrey. A good win as well on Saturday for our U21 footballers, resources were stretched with the AFL1 semi-final the next day but again the team showed great character to grind out the win. Unfortunately the Senior footballers lost out by 6 away to Ballyboden in the Semi-Final. The Minor A Camogie game was postponed; Minor C bounced back from an opening day loss to record a good win vs Commercials.

This week see our U21 hurlers in action, first up on Tuesday is the U21B as they take on Good Counsel in the Qtr Final at 8.30pm in Bohernabreena. Then on Saturday at 2pm in O'Toole Park, the U21A team contest the County Final vs NaFianna.

The Club’s AGM will be held THIS THURSADAY  21st November.

The following coach education nights have been organised for the coming months in the club. The Club is hosting 2 separate foundation courses (Dual-hurling and football) to accommodate as many  new coaches as possible. We are also hosting an Award 1 child course (Dual-hurling and football) and a safeguarding course (Mandatory for all coaches involved with a team no matter how small your role). The cost involved is EUR 10 for the foundation course, EUR 40 for the award 1 course and the Safeguarding is free. Club Shop is OPEN Thursdays 7-8.30pm and Saturdays 10am-12.

The Lucan Credit Union Academy is on Saturday mornings 9.30am for girls, 10am for the boys.

The Lucan Sarsfields GAA Club 25 Card Drive has resumed and is on every Friday until May 2020 in the Clubhouse Bar.  Time: 8.00pm Sharp  1^st Prize: €50, 2^nd Prize if 3 or more tables   

Entry: €5 per person Records will be kept of the number of games won by all players (in the 12 games played at each table) over the season. Entry fees that exceed the prize money each night will be accumulated as prizes for the top players over the full season. Everyone is welcome - from beginners to those who played years ago and would like to resume playing so please spread the word! Club membership is NOT a requirement.
