Chairman Ben Murphy statement in relation to the Senior Football  Management team.

The Senior Football management team of Gordon Ward, Greg O'Neill, Kenny Wade, Al 'Moose' McCarthy, Declan Torsney, John Condon, John Hodgkinson and Niall O'Keeffe have informed me that they will not seek another term with the Senior Football team for 2019.

I want to sincerely thank Gordon and Kenny, for the two years they have worked with our senior team, particularly helping develop some of our younger talent, while ensuring we remained competitive in AFL1. I also want to highlight the great work of Greg, Moose, John C and Niall who have been with the team for 5 years ensuring continuity. Thanks also go to Declan and John H who came in this year to support and bolster the management team. 

I think I can speak for the whole of Lucan Sarsfields and the Senior Football players when I say we are grateful and wish them all the very best. We hope they stay active and will be back with other teams in future.

We wish Gordan Ward every success for the future and thank him for his time with Lucan.

I thank you for your patience as we now look to put a new management team in place, any developments on this will be announced in due course.
