We thank you for your ongoing support and wish everyone well in their 2018 endeavours both on and off the field.
And as we look forward to 2018 Lucan Sarsfields GAA club are pleased to announce the appointment of our New Senior Hurling Manager, Martin Ennis, for the next 2 years.
Martin comes to Lucan off the back of three years with Meath, where he won the Christy Ring Cup and a National League title. Martin has a wealth of experience having played inter county for over ten years and has won Club Championships as a manager.
Martin will bring a new drive to the team and will be hoping to push on after what has been a solid 2 years under Tom Ryan.
The club wants to acknowledge the role Tom has played over the last 2 years and thank him and his outgoing management team for the work they put in. We also want to thank Darragh Hunt for his work over the last two years and wish him well as he moves into his new role with the Minor Hurling Management team.
Dermot English and Bernard Crowley will make up the coaching ticket, Bernard has worked with them team over the last 2 years and this will allow for continuity, Dermot comes into the set up following a number of years working with Juvenile teams across the club and will assist with coaching.
The Club looks forward to this exciting period as we try to build and achieve success over the next 2 years.
