Highlight of the week must be the Junior Footballers semi final win in their championship. It finished Lucan 1:19 to St Margarets 1:07. An entertaining full match report is available online. There were also wins for Senior Football against St Sylvesters brining them to 9 points in Division 1. Safe yet? Intermediate Footballers were also in winning ways taking the points from St Brigids on Saturday evening.

Summer camps are in full swing and the favourable weather has made them even more enjoyable. Thanks to David Moran and all his team for making it enjoyable for all involved.

The postponed Car Draw will take place on the night of the 26th August when Aslan play at Lucan Sarsfields. Tickets for Aslan are available online form ticketmaster.ie, while tickets for the car draw are available at the club.

Ladies Football are in championship action against O’Tools on Wednesday evening having overcome Westmanstown last week. 

Senior Hurlers are at home on Saturday evening next to Naomh Olaf.

Last week there was no winner of the €7,000 lotto and the numbers were 5, 16, 22 and 23. This weeks €7,400 draw will be managed by Team Frank Flemming and is sponsored by Newcastle Golf Centre. Tickets can be purchased online, at the club, in Carey’s Newsagents or in Vesey Arms or Kenny’s Bar.

The club bar will be closed on Monday, Tuesday and Friday nights until the end of August. Other days remain un affected. If anyone requires the bar or function room for any event just contact bar staff on Thursday night.

Lucan Sarsfields Golf Society next outing will take place at Tulfarris Golf Club on Saturday 22^nd July from 9.30am to 10.50am. To request a tee time please text John Clancy at 086 0412953 as soon as possible but no later than 6pm on Sunday 16^th July. New members are always very welcome.

The annual Family Fun day originally scheduled for Saturday 1st July has now been moved to later in the Summer.

Bingo continues on Wednesday 8:00pm in the club bar.
