Club Updates :

A fantastic outcome for the U14A team, winning the Division 1 Féile final on Sunday in O’Toole Park, defeating Ballyboden. Well done to all the girls and their mentors, and the very best of luck to them in the National Féile in June. Thanks to all of the club members who attended to support the girls on Saturday and Sunday.

Well done to the U14B team who represented the club proudly in Naomh Olaf. Unfortunately they didn’t progress past the group stages but hopefully it was an enjoyable experience for them.

The hosting of the Division 1 Féile on Saturday was a huge success for the club. Eoghan O’Shea did a superb job as co-ordinator, ensuring every little detail was attended to. There was a lot of positive feedback received from the visiting teams on all aspects, complimenting us on everything from the car parking, warm welcome, to condition of the pitches, availability of dressing rooms, and of course the large spread which was provided by so many parents. Thanks to everyone who helped out to make this such a success.

Rendition of the National Anthem at the end of the parade in Lucan on Saturday morning can be viewed here http://www.dublincamogie.ie/_fileupload/2017/Lucan%20video.mp4

Well done also to Claire Rigney and Mark Hanley who were referees at Feile venues on Saturday.
Also Katie Feeney, Orla Sadlier, Niamh O'Connor, Tara O'Connor, Sarah Prendergast and Yasmin Kilduff, who were lines officials at 3 of the finals on Sunday, in O'Toole Park.

Lucan players in Inter-county action in the past week :

U16 – Aoife Byrne, Aoife Mahon, Laura Quinn, Siofra Byrne

Both the U16A and U16B teams are through to the Leinster finals on May 6th. Well done to them.

Any mentors who haven’t already completed the Child Protection in Sport awareness training – there is a course tomorrow evening in the club 7-9.30 pm , contact club children's Officer - Colette Condon @ 0863799270 if you wish to attend.

The Club expenses policy has been revised as of April 2017 and is available on the club website.
