Lucan Sarsfields Club Notes Monday 19th September 2016

Dublin escaped Croke Park on Sunday still in the All Ireland series. The impact of the replay on club fixtures in Dublin is not known yet, but we will keep you posted.

Family Fun Day is scheduled for next Saturday 24th September, full steam ahead with donations sought for bottles, books etc. 

As currently scheduled, the Senior Hurlers next championship game in O’Toole Park on Saturday next at 3:30pm.

Senior Football were not successful in their last league game against St Sylvesters on Saturday night. Their fate now depends on a number of other delayed games due to be played midweek. Their Saturday night race night on the other hand was very successful.

Ladies Football Cup Semi-Final against Croi-Ro-Naofa has yet to be scheduled but we will keep you posted.

“Rock The Lock” is a three day music festival taking place at the 12th Lock over the October Bank Holiday weekend. See here for more details and tickets.

Golf Society’s next outing is Captains Day Sat Oct 1 at Luttrellstown.

Set Dancing is back on Wednesday nights while the Bingo continues every Wednesday evening at 8:30pm with free tea/coffee.

Club Shop is newly stocked and back in action and is open on Thursday 7pm-9pm and on Saturday 10:30am-1:30pm. If you are hoping to have guaranteed delivery of items for Christmas them orders should be in by the end of October.

Lucan District Credit Union Academy is back in full flight on Saturday mornings 9:30am is the start for Girls and 10am for the Boys. New members (5+) always welcome.

€11,000 was the prize on offer for next weeks Lotto. This week, there was no winner where the numbers were 6, 20, 23 and 28. This weeks sponsor was JohnRyan Accountant and next weeks draw will be managed by Team Gerry McAndrew.
