Past-President Joe Byrne pinned the new Uachtaran’s Medal on Seaghan O’Lanagan’s chest as he takes to role for the next three years. Our thanks to Joe and best wished to Seaghan.

Senior Hurlers next championship game in O’Toole Park, in preparation for which Lucan lads played a challenge game away to Oranmore on Saturday, which they won on the double, their accumulator paying for the refreshments.

Senior Football also played a successful challenge against Templeogue Synge St in advance of their next fixture against St Sylvesters on Saturday 17th 5:30pm on the Senior Pitch. After the game they are running a Race Night in the club starting at 9pm. As this is the eve of the Football Final it promises to be a great night and maybe your last chance to get your hand on a ticket!

Senior1 Camogie lost out to St Vincents in the latest championship clash while Senior 2 and Senior 6 both over came Ballyboden.

Ladies Football won against Blessington on Wednesday last. This game was a League & Cup double header putting Lucan into the Cup Semi-Final on Wednesday next (14/9) 18:30 against Croi Ro Naofa. The home game will be on the Senior Pitch and all support would be appreciated. 

“Rock The Lock” is a three day music festival taking place at the 12th Lock over the October Bank Holiday weekend. See website for more details.

Lucan Sarsfields Golf Society results from Donabate outing. Overall Winner John Boland (19) 41pts, 2nd Overall Dave Whittle (20) 37pts, Category 1 winner Michael Malone (18) 35pts, Category 2 winner Sean Breen (22) 35pts, Category 3 winner Mark Carton (29) 32pts. Congratulations to all the winners. Next outing is Liam Carton's Captains Day on Saturday 1st October in Luttrellstown Golf Club.

Bingo continues every Wednesday evening at 8:30pm with free tea/coffee.

Club Shop is back in action and is open on Thursday 7pm-9pm and on Saturday 10:30am-1:30pm.

Lucan District Credit Union Academy is back in full flight on Saturday mornings 9:30am is the start for Girls and 10am for the Boys. New members (5+) always welcome.

€11,000 is the prize on offer for next weeks Lotto. This week, there was no winner where the numbers were 6, 10, 18 and 26. This weeks sponsor was Matt Reilly Autoparts and next weeks draw will be managed by Team Séamus Clandillon.
