Junior Footballers had a fantastic extra time win over St Brendans to claim their place in the Championship Final against St Vincents. Read the full account to the game in our online news.
Senior Footballers lost to Ballyboden in their latest league fixture, having been a point ahead at the half the game finished 0:17 to 2:17. This leaves just two games, away to St Maurs 6pm 3/9, home to St Sylvesters 17:30 on 17/9. A few points required to avoid playoff.
A narrow one point win for Lucan Senior Hurlers v Dunboyne in Sundays challenge game, they face Crumlin on Saturday next 27/8 18:30, Pearse Park. This is a game from which Lucan need at least a draw to retain their Division 1 status.
On Sunday Lucan hosted a Festival of Hurling for U12s. Teams from Tipperary, Cork, Kildare and Kilkenny competed with two tiers of competition. Lucan and Blackrock battled for the final win in group one with Lucan prevailing while Eire Og and Durlas Og played the final in group two with the Tipp side coming out on top. A big thanks to all who helped make it a successful event.

Congratulations to all the winners and thanks to Automatic Fire & Integrated Solutions for sponsoring the outing. Our next outing is Donabate GC Saturday 10th September and our Captains ( Liam Carton) Day is in Luttrellstown GC on Saturday 1st October.
Friends of Dublin Hurling will hold its 4th annual All Ireland Hurling Week Golf Classic in Powerscourt Golf Club on Wednesday, 31st August. Contact Michael at 087-2331983 to reserve a slot or for further information.
Another successful set of Summer Camps have run their course. A big thanks to all those who helped in the organisation.
Bingo continues every Wednesday evening at 8:30pm with free tea/coffee.

There was no winner of this weeks 9,000 lotto draw, numbers were 1, 6, 9 and 13. Next draw will take place on Sunday night with the jackpot now at 9,500. Last weeks draw was sponsored by Colaiste Laichtim, Inis Oirr. Next weeks draw will be managed by team Diarmaid Dawson.
