Senior Footballers continue their charge with a third straight win in Division 1. Saturday’s game was more MMA than GAA but Lucan prevailed 2:16 to Fingal Ravens 1:07. At the same time intermediate footballers overcame Man-O-War. The Senior Footballers next game is 23/7 away to Oliver Plunketts.

Senior Hurlers are out next Saturday night 6:30pm away to St Judes in Tymon North.

Unfortunately Senior 1 Camogie lost their League Cup Final by a single point to Ballyboden 2:11 to 2:10. 

Ladies Football is enjoying some success with the juniors winning their League Cup. The latest win came at the expense of Clan Na Gael, with Katie Wisdom sneaking a last minute goal to give Lucan a two point victory.

Summer Camps 2016 are underway with Aoibhin Stokes becoming one of the young Sars Stars from the first camp. Camps continue with Hurling/Camogie 11-15th July, Football 8-12th August, Hurling/Camogie 15-19th August. Campus run 10am to 2:30pm.

The joker draw with a prize fund now at €280 is getting lots of interest, which is great, of more interest should be our club lotto with a prize fund of €6,500 next week.

There was no winner of this weeks €6,000 lotto draw, numbers were 4-20-21-26. Next draw will take place on Sunday night with the jackpot now at €6,600. Tonights draw was sponsored by Newcastle Golf Centre. Next weeks draw will be managed by team Gerry McAndrew.
