Lucan Sarsfields Club Notes Monday 20th June 2016

Congratulations to both the Hurling and Camogie U14 teams and mentors on doing so well in representing Dublin in National Feile Competitions. The Camogie girls lost at the quarter final stage  by a point to the home advantage that Toomevara had. The hurlers went to the semi finals loosing out to Glen Rovers from Cork. 

Next weekend it is the turn of the Footballers with the Ladies starting on Friday evening in Carrigaline and the boys in Mountcoal just outside Listowel. Follow @lucansarsfieldspro on twitter for live updates.

Senior Footballers are due to play Raheny in St Annes Park on Wednesday next 7:30pm, thats a Division 1 league fixture (competing with Ireland Italy). While the Senior Hurlers are away to Kilmacud on Tuesday evening at 7:30.

Meanwhile the Junior hurlers are keeping their championship alive with a 6 point win over Cuala, heir next round is against Round Towers Clondalkin on the 14/7 away 7:30pm.

Congratulations to John Bellew playing his part in Dublin U21’s hurlers championship win over Westmeath, hard luck to Chris Crummy and Jonny McCafrey playing their part with the seniors.

Senior 1 Camogie League Cup next fixture is Tuesday 21/6 at home to St Judes at 7:30pm, while on the 22/6 Ladies Football entertain Blessington in the Division 3 Cup.

Best of Luck to the senior hurling team from Gaelscoil Naomh Pádraig who play in the cup final (Corn Mhic Phiarais) of Cumann na mBunscoil in Croke Park on Monday June 20th at 11.10am in Croke Park.
