Sunday 29th May. 1916-2016 commemoration. This will be a big community event combining Lucan Sarsfields, Lucan Gospel Choir, Lucan Harriers, Local Historians, Westside Stage School and many more. Action kicks off at 1pm. All our fantastic Feile teams will be on show as part of the festivities

Inter Footballers continue on their championship journey with a win over O’Dwyers while the Junior footballers match them with a win over Wild Geese. Senior footballers are next in league action 25/5 19:30 at home to St Judes. In the meantime Wednesday next 18/5 19:15 Kiltipper Rd Senior Footballers play Thomas Davis in the SVDP Cup.

Senior Hurlers next outing is on 18/5 at home to Craobh Chiarain at 7:15pm. 

Senior Camogie next league outing is on 17/5 at home to St Judes 19:30. Congratulations to St Josephs Secondary School on winning Dublin Post Primary Minor A Camogie Championship.

On the juvenile side, hurling wins for 13A (B’s drew), 14A&B, Camogie wins for 16A, 14B and 13A, Ladies Football wins for 14A & 13B.

Bingo continues to grow in popularity, now that its running every Wednesday in the club bar 8:30pm. Set Dancing is on Wednesday at 8:30pm in the Function Room.

Golf Society next outing will take place at Grange Castle Golf Club on Friday 20th May from 2.25pm to 3.50pm. To request a tee time please text Shane Carton at 087 6356691 asap. Details on this years Golf Classic coming soon.

10th June is the County Colours BBQ night in aid of Team James for Barretstown Camp. Good food and lots of entertainment planned, tickets available at the bar.

Premium Draw is proving very popular, games aside, last Thursday was the draw for the first of the Springsteen tickets with John O’Mahon getting the gig. Tickets still available, more Bruce on offer Thursday next. €20 gets you in for the year.

Lucan Sarsfields Summer Camps 2016 for ages 6-13 begin on the 4th July. Football 4-8th July, Hurling/Camogie 11-15th July, Football 8-12th August, Hurling/Camogie 15-19th August.

Friday’s 25-card drive is run its course for this season.

There was no winner of this week’s €2,000 Lotto draw, numbers were 11, 14, 19 and 27. Lotto sponsor was Colaiste Laichtin, Oinis Oir. Next week’s jackpot is €2,500, and the draw will be managed by team Frank Flemming on Sunday night next.
