Dublin Feile Champions! No, not a copy of a report from two weeks ago, Lucan Hurlers join the Ladies Footballers in becoming this years Division 1 Dublin Feile Champions. Lucan also got as far as the semi final in Division 5. A hugely successful weekend with the hurlers doing themselves, the club and their community very proud. A big thanks to all the supporters who made the journey to Parnell Park for Sundayâs final, these lads are destined to grace that sod many times in he future.
Lucans 3:15 to 4:06 extra time win came after wins over Kilmacud, Thomas Davis, St Vincents and Clontarf. The Div 5 team lost out to Sylvesters in their semi-final but did have strong wins over Crumlin and St Annes.

Senior Hurlers next outing is in the Championship on Saturday 23/4 17:30 away to OâTools in OâTool Park.
Senior Football lost in their latest league outing away to St Brigids 1:17 to 1:06. The football championship gets underway on Saturday 28/4 6pm v Round Towers, which is scheduled to be played in Newcastle. The juniors are keeping the flag flying with a 10 point win over Innisfails.
Senior Camogie lost out to Rathnure in their latest round of the Leinster League. Tuesday night they are scheduled to play Oliver Plunkets at home 7:15. On 26/4 they are away to St Vincents at 19:30.
On the juvenile side CCC2 was a hurling weekend with Feile confining games. The U16 teams both had good wins and the U14 Ladies Football continued their winning ways.
Lucan Sarsfields Golf Society Results Kilcock Outing. 34 golfers played in cold but dry and sunny weather. Congrats to all the winners. 1st Overall Robbie Breen (22) 41pts BB9, 2nd Mick Roche (16) 41 pts, Class 1 winner Gerry O'Grady (14) 35pts, Class 2 winner Pat McGrath (19) 34pts, Class 3 winner Phil Cunningham (35) 32 pts, Visitor Prize Dave Murray (17) 30pts. Next outing Grange Castle Friday 20th May.
Next Bingo night is on this Wednesday (20/4). We would still like to run this every week but it will require a few more volunteers - if anyone can lend a hand please make yourself known to the organisers on Wednesday night.
Set Dancing is on Wednesday at 8:30pm in the Function Room.

The Cúpla Focal Club continues on Monday night. Eight OâClock for the novices, nine for the more experienced speakers.
Cards are on Friday night next 9pm for anyone interested.
There was no winner of this weeks â¬5,000 lotto draw. The numbers were 12, 15, 19 and 20. The draw was sponsored by Carys Newsagent. Next weeks â¬5,500 draw will be on Sunday night and will be managed by team Josephine Donohue.
