When should I complete the Health Questionnaire or resubmit thay my health status has not changed | The best time to do this is immediately prior to the training session or game. Remember - it is not the responsibility of the club or team mentors to check the players temperatures. If your training session is 8pm on Thursday, why would you state that you are fit to play/train on any other day prior to Thursday? |
My son plays both hurling and football, do i have to fill out a Health Questionnaire for each | The GAA advice is "Each participant must declare that their Health Status hasn't changed on each subsequent occasion they participate." So, if the Hurling and Football training is part of the same session as is the case in the Academy, no you don't. It is more likely that there are different time and days forthe two codes, so yes, fill out a different ReturnToPlay Health Questionnaire for each. - But remember, only do it on the day of the training. This also applies to Camogie and Ladies Football The same applies if a participant is playing up for another team, when training and or playing with the higher team they must also declare their health status on the day that they train with that team. |
I've been assigned as a Covid-19 Supervisor but I cannot see the status of the team. | All the email addresses of the CoVid-19 supervisors have been submitted to the relevant organisations, GAA/LGFA and/or Camogie Association. Once they have entered you on to their Games Management System, then you will be able to view not only your own submissions, but the rest of the team too. This may take several hours from the time the Club secretary has notified the organisation. 29/06/2020 - Update. Due to an issue with the GAA Servers, the sytem became unresponsive from 6pm to 8pm. The sytem is now back online. 2-7-2020 - Update, If you cant see the status of your teams, did you create a second account with the same email address? Some users did and if they revert to the original account, it all works properly 20-7-2020 - Update, Some users cannot log in or reset their password - this may be because an extra space has been added at the end of the user name when auto-fill is enabled. Just delete the space and try again. |
Dropoff and collection of underage players - Are parents required to drop off and collect underage players to/from training? Or can the players arrive/leave on their own (walking or cycling, with social distancing)? | According to the Safe Return to Gaelic Games - Guidelines for Parents & Guardians published on 19 June, 2020, and available at https://learning.gaa.ie/covid19resources. "Travel with child/children where possible to training/games – only one parent/guardian, not directly involved in the training session, is permitted to attend or observe training and must abide by the directives contained in the Guidelines on the Safe Return to Gaelic Games document at all times" |
Who will monitor completion of the eLearning module? | The onus is on Clubs to ensure that anyone entering their facilities for training/playing purposes have completed the eLearning module. Those who complete the module will be able to print, download or take a screenshot of their Certificate of completion at the end of the module. In Lucan Sarsfields, each teams Covid-19 Supervisor is collecting them via email or message. |

Here are a few tips to help you and help the Covid-19 Supervisors:
- Sign in to the https://returntoplay.gaa.ie/return-to-play site and create or edit your profile, but DO NOT complete the health questionnaire until the day of your or your childs’ training session. When you answer the question “Have you had any of the following symptoms of COVID-19 in the past 14 days?” - you are answering for the training session or game about to take place.
- If you have already completed it, DO NOT reconfirm that there are no changes to your health status until the day of your training session.
- All male players and mentors should have Lucan Sarsfields Dublin - GAA as their club profile, On the day of your next Hurling or Football training session, complete a health questionnaire using Lucan Sarsfields Dublin GAA Club
- Ladies Football players and mentors are to have Lucan Sarsfields Dublin LGFA club as their club profile. On the day of your next Ladies Football training session, complete a health questionnaire using Lucan Sarsfields Dublin LGFA Club
- Camogie players and mentors should have Lucan Sarsfields Dublin Camogie club as their club profile. On the day of your next Camogie training session, complete a health questionnaire using Lucan Sarsfields Dublin Camogie Club
It is possible for a household to be associated with three clubs:
When Submitting a players health questionnaire, please use the correct club / code combination
The best time to complete the health questionnaire or to reconfirm the player health status is immediately prior to the training session or game. Remember - it is not the responsibility of the club or team mentors to check the players temperatures. If you submit the health questionnaire too far in advance of your training session, it is possible that the record will not appear on the system as the amount of records that can be displayed is finite, and the player will be refused entry to the training area.
We have noticed that several of our players have been submitted multiple times in succession, please only submit once. - this will cause issues when the Covid-19 Supervisor is trying to check players are cleared to play, and will cause delays when trying to admit players to the training grounds.
